The Way of the Elders- Drumming of Guidance, Connection & Healing
There is an ancient rhythm that lives within us- a remembering carried through the seasons, through the land, through the circle. The way of the Elders is a monthly shamanic practice rooted in respect for Earth-based wisdom traditions. This space honours the old ways- the teachings of listening, connection, and rhythm. Walking the path with devotion to the old ways and grounded awareness.
Each gathering begins with a guided teaching exploring themes of seasonal wisdom, and grounded spiritual practice.
Our first session is devoted to the way of the Shaman- a foundational teaching exploring the roots of the shamanic path. Before we work with rhythm of journeying, we begin by understanding the role, the responsibility, and the reverence required to walk this way. Together, we honour the ancient ones and the traditions that have carried this wisdom across generations.
In the sessions that follow, we will explore the role of the drum, the medicine wheel, and what it means to walk between worlds with grounded awareness and devotion to the old ways.
In the second half of each evening, we gather in circle for drumming- allowing the medicine of rhythm to guide us inward, restore balance, and reconnect us to ourselves, one another, and the wider web of life.

No experience is necessary. You are welcome whether you are new to drumming or already walking your own Earth-based practice.
