The autumn equinox can have a profound impact on people’s health both physically and psychologically. As the days become shorter and the nights longer our biological circadian rhythm (our physical, mental and behavioural changes) or internal body clock is affected. This can lead to changes in our sleep patterns and mood. This is the beginning of root energy, bringing rest and renewal in the dark.
This is the chance for us all to go within and re-centre the dark womb of the spiritual world. Which provides a strong foundation for our lives. Equinoxes are a chance to stop and adjust. Beyond the change in seasons this powerful moment holds deep spiritual significance symbolising the soul’s rebirth, growth and awakening and all of this to mark an energetic shift to regain our personal power. We will open the ceremony with blessings of change of seasons, followed by a spiritual cleansing ritual to find spiritual connection and source our inner power and a journey of balance to day and night, shadow and light, the Earth and the divine. This celebration is all about balance that allows us to see ourselves more clearly, enabling us to make the necessary adjustments for personal growth. Harvests of fruit, nuts and berries, herbal tea is included.
