DESCRIPTION:🔥 SAMHAIN — THE SACRED DESCENT 🔥 \nAn Outdoor Ceremony of Fire\, Ancestors & the Turning of the Wheel \nHonouring the Ancestors • Releasing the Old • Entering the Sacred Darkness \nAs the Wheel turns once more and we cross the threshold of Samhain\, you are invited to gather with us outdoors around the fire for a very special evening of ceremony\, remembrance\, release and connection. \nSamhain marks our descent into the darker half of the year — a time when nature begins to withdraw\, the trees release what they can no longer carry and the Earth turns towards rest and stillness. \nRather than fearing the darkness\, we will honour it as a sacred space of reflection\, transformation and inner wisdom. \nTogether\, we will journey through The Sacred Descent. \n🔥 Opening the Sacred Space & The Turning of the Wheel \nWe begin gathered around the fire\, opening our ceremonial space and exploring the deeper meaning of Samhain. \nWe will reflect upon this powerful turning of the Wheel and the wisdom held within the natural world — a reminder that there is a season for growth and becoming\, but also a season for releasing\, surrendering and drawing our energy inward. \nAs nature begins her descent into winter\, we will consider what our own Sacred Descent is asking of us. \n🍎 The Sacred Samhain Brew \nA specially crafted warming Samhain brew will be shared around the fire. \nWe will explore the symbolic meaning held within its ingredients before blessing our cups together and drinking with intention as we cross the threshold into our ceremonial journey. \nA moment to warm the body\, settle into the land and prepare ourselves for the journey ahead. \n🌳 Honouring the Ancestors & the Land \nBefore we journey\, we will take time to honour the Earth beneath our feet\, the land holding our ceremony and those who walked before us. \nWe will acknowledge our ancestral lines — the lives\, stories\, wisdom and experiences that existed long before our own. \nThis will be a space of remembrance and gratitude\, honouring those who came before while recognising that we each carry forward our own part of the story. \n🥁 The Ancestral Drum Journey \nGuided by the ancient heartbeat of the drum\, we will journey beyond the everyday mind and enter a sacred inner landscape connected to our ancestors. \nA deeply personal journey of ancestral connection\, remembrance and wisdom\, allowing whatever needs to be revealed within your own journey to gently unfold. \n🔥 The Samhain Fire Ritual — Releasing the Old \nReturning from our journey\, we gather once more around the fire. \nJust as the trees surrender their leaves\, we will reflect upon what has reached completion within our own lives. \nWhat are we ready to lay down? \nWhat are we no longer willing to carry? \nWhat has served its purpose but no longer belongs in the season we are entering? \nThrough our Samhain fire ritual\, we will symbolically release the old into the flames\, allowing the fire to mark the ending of one cycle and our crossing into another. \n🕯️ Entering the Sacred Darkness \nWith our release complete\, we move deeper into The Sacred Descent. \nHolding our individual candles\, we will explore the darkness not as something to fear\, but as a sacred place of rest\, stillness\, gestation and the unknown. \nOne by one\, our candles will be extinguished. \nAnd for a while\, there will be nothing to do. \nNo drum. \nNo journey. \nNo need to know what comes next. \nSimply the sound of the fire\, the night around us and the Earth beneath us. \nA sacred pause between what has been and what is yet to become. \n🔥 Returning to the Light \nFrom the darkness\, we gently return. \nGathering once more around the flame\, we will honour the light we carry within and the wisdom we choose to take with us into the darker season. \nOur ceremonial circle will then be brought gently towards its close with gratitude to the land\, our ancestors and everyone who has gathered around the fire. \n🎃 The Return to the Hearth — A Samhain Harvest Supper \nAnd then we return to warmth\, nourishment and community. \nGathered together around the fire\, we will share a warming bowl of homemade pumpkin soup with harvest bread. \nA simple seasonal feast honouring the gifts of the Earth\, the harvest that has sustained us and the importance of coming together in community as the Wheel turns towards winter. \nA time to ground after our journey\, warm our bodies\, share our experiences and simply enjoy being together around the fire. \nFrom darkness\, we return to the hearth.\nFrom release\, we return to nourishment.\nFrom the individual journey\, we return to community. \n❤️ Preparing for Your Evening \nCome wrapped warmly and ready to gather around the fire as we honour this powerful turning of the Wheel. \nAs this is an outdoor ceremony\, please dress for the season and come prepared to stay warm and comfortable throughout the evening. \nPlease bring: \n• 🪑A camping chair \n• 🧣A warm blanket \n• 💧A water bottle \n• 🧤Warm outdoor clothing- layers\, coat\, hat\, gloves and warm footwear \nEverything else you need for the evening will be provided\, including your Sacred Samhain Brew\, ceremonial materials and home-made pumpkin soup with harvest bread and herbal teas. \n🪧Event Details \n🗓 Saturday 31 October 2026 \n🕓 Time: 4:00pm – 9:00pm \n🤎 Energy Exchange: £50 per person \n📍Juswonmoor Stables\nTideford Cross\nPL12 5JY\nApproximately 15 minutes from Plymouth \n🚗 Parking is availble on site. \nThe event will be clearly signposted on arrival\, and a what3words Location will be provided before the event to help guide you directly to us. \nSAMHAIN — THE SACRED DESCENT \nHonour what came before.\nRelease what has reached its ending.\nEnter the darkness.\nCarry your light within. \nJules — Oracle of Realms\nWhere Healing Becomes Awakening
