SUMMARY:The Way of the Elders- Drumming Circle of Guidance\, Connection & Healing
DESCRIPTION:The Way of the Elders- Drumming of Guidance\, Connection & Healing \nThere is an ancient rhythm that lives within us. A remembering carried through the seasons\, through the land\, and through the circle. The Way of the Elders is a monthly shamanic practice rooted in respect for Earth-based wisdom traditions. This space honours the old ways- the teachings of listening\, connection\, and rhythm. Walking the path with devotion to the old ways and grounded awareness. \nAs we continue walking the way of the elders together\, each gathering offers an opportunity to deepen our connection with the old ways through teaching\, ceremony\, and shared experience. Each circle invites us to learn something new\, not only through knowledge\, but through direct experience\, honouring the wisdom that has been carried through generations. \nAnd now\, the circle turns once more. \nFor this special gathering\, we are delighted to welcome Laura\, a Shamanic Practitioner\, Healer\, and Spirit Doll Birther\, who will be guiding our circle through the ancient practice of Power Animal Journeying. \nAcross many shamanic traditions\, power animals are understood as spiritual allies- offering guidance\, protection\, wisdom\, and support through lifes journey. \nThe evening will begin with a short introduction to the teaching of power animals before we hand the circle over to Laura\, who will gently guide us into a deeply immersive shamanic journey. \nTogether we will explore: \n🐾 The role of power animals within shamanic traditions. \n🐾 How the steady heartbeat of the drum supports altered states of awareness and inner journeying. \n🐾 Meeting your power animal through guided shamanic journeying. \n🐾 Receiving guidance\, wisdom\, and personal insight through direct experience. \nFollowing the journey\, we will gather together in a talking stick circle. \nThe talking stick has long been used within many indigenous traditions as a symbol of respectful listening and heartfelt expression. It creates a space where each voice is honoured\, allowing those who wish to share their experience\, reflections\, or insights to do so without interruption or judgement. \nThis is a space for: \n🪶 Learning and reflection\n🥁 Deep connection through the rhythm of the drum\n🐾 Personal guidance and inner discovery\n🪵 Sharing in community through the talking stick circle \nNo experience is necessary. Whether this is your first shamanic journey or you have travelled this path before\, you are warmly welcomed into the circle. \nHosted by:\nJules @ Oracle of Realms & Barry @ Intwined Therapies \nSpecial Guest: Laura- Shamanic Practitioner\, Healer & Spirit Doll Birther \nTogether\, we hold this space with reverence\, lived experience\, and a shared commitment to authentic and respectful practice. \nIf you have your own drum\, you are warmly invited to bring it along. If not\, please know that it is not required — you are welcome to simply come\, receive\, and allow the heart beat of the drum to carry you on your journey. \nDetails \nFirst Thursday of each month. \nLocation – Well-being Studio\nJules Awakening Wellness Centre\nTransit Way\nPL5 3TW \nTime – 19:00 – 21:00\nEnergy exchange – £10 \n“The drum calls us home — and in the circle\, we answer.” \n
