SUMMARY:The Way of the Elders- Drumming Circle of Guidance\, Connection & Healing
DESCRIPTION:The Way of the Elders- Drumming of Guidance\, Connection & Healing \nThere is an ancient rhythm that lives within us- a remembering carried through the seasons\, through the land\, through the circle. The way of the Elders is a monthly shamanic practice rooted in respect for Earth-based wisdom traditions. This space honours the old ways- the teachings of listening\, connection\, and rhythm. Walking the path with devotion to the old ways and grounded awareness. \nEach gathering begins with a guided teaching exploring themes of seasonal wisdom\, and grounded spiritual practice. \nOur first session was devoted to the way of the Shaman- a foundational teaching exploring the roots of the shamanic path. Before we worked with the rhythm of journeying\, we began by understanding the role\, the responsibility\, and the reverence required to walk this way. Together we honoured the ancient ones and the traditions that have carried this wisdom across generations. \nIn this month’s circle we turn our attention to the drum itself. Our teaching will explore connecting with your drum and the sacred tools of the Shaman. We will begin to understand the drum not simply as an instrument\, but as a companion on the path- a living rhythm that carries the heartbeat of the Earth. We will explore how to build a respectful relationship with your drum\, how sacred tools have traditionally supported shamanic practice\, and how intention and awareness bring these tools to life within ceremony. In the sessions that follow\, we will continue exploring the medicine wheel and what it means to walk between worlds with grounded awareness and devotion to the old ways. \nIn the second half of each evening\, we gather in circle for drumming- allowing the medicine of rhythm to guide us inward\, restore balance\, and reconnect us to ourselves\, one another\, and the wider web of life. \nThis is a space for: \n🪶Learning and reflection \n🪶Connection and community \n🪶Gentle healing and restoration \n🪶Honouring the seasons and the turning of the wheel \nNo experience is necessary. You are welcome whether you are new to drumming or already walking your own Earth-based practice. \nHosted by: \nJules @ Oracle of Realms & Barry @ Intwined Therapies \nTogether\, they hold this space with reverence\, lived experience\, and a commitment to authentic and respectful practice. \nIf you have your own drum\, you are warmly invited to bring it along. If not\, please know that it is not required- you are welcome to simply come\, listen\, and experience the rhythm of the circle. \nDetails \nFirst Thursday of each month. Beginning 5th March 2026 \nLocation- Well-being studio \nJules Awakening Wellness Centre\, \nTransit Way. \nPL5 3TW \nTime- 19:15 – 21:00 \nEnergy exchange- £10 \n“The drum calls us home- and in the circle\, we answer.” \n
